What a donation does not do
- It does not enter you in the event. There is no entry fee and there never will be.
- It does not get you items, kits, ranks, or any advantage in game.
- It does not get you special treatment. Everyone plays on identical terms.
- Anyone can win the prize without ever spending a cent.
Arizona law defines gambling as risking something of value for the chance to win a benefit. No entry fee means nothing of value is risked, so this never becomes gambling. That is the only thing keeping the event clean, which is why donating can never buy anything.
