Simple Solution for Hiccups
Just follow these simple instructions and your hiccups will disappear.
Items you are going to need:
- creamy peanut butter
- honey
- large spoon(s) of your choice
This may sound, feel, look, and be a little crazy at first. Let the process make a believer out of you. Here we go.
First count out loud from 1 to 14
Then from 1 to 13
Then from 1 to 12
Then from 1 to 7
Then from 20 to 1
You will still be experiencing symptoms at this time.
Put the spoon in your mouth and think to yourself, "This is the stupidest thing I have ever done to get rid of the hiccups."
Take the spoon out of your mouth and dip it in the peanut butter. You can switch spoons at this point if you want but it has to be the same size spoon. Gather up a heaping spoonful of peanut butter. Put the full spoon in your mouth and remove the peanut butter from the spoon. Remove the spoon from your mouth.
Breathe deeply through your nose and exhale.
Breathe deeply through your nose and exhale.
Say out loud with peanut butter still in your mouth, "Why do we still have pennies? They seem like a useless form of legal tender. I won't even pick pennies up off the ground. It seems like a waste of time."
Swallow the peanut butter.
Dip the spoon in the peanut butter (again substituting if you like) and get about half of what you did before. Use your finger or tongue to create a hole in the peanut butter. Pour the honey into this hole.
You are probably salivating a little.
Say these lines out loud:
- Here comes the honey
- Here comes the honey
- Here comes the honey
- Here comes the honey
Put the spoon in your mouth and remove the peanut butter and honey mixture. Enjoy the taste.
Say out loud with the mixture still in your mouth, "Honey is not the key ingredient. The process is what makes my hiccups go away. Honey is not the key ingredient, but I sure do love the taste."
Swallow the mixture and think of the way honey is made. If you don't know exactly, it is ok, just imagine honey being made. Be as detailed as you can about the process.
Put the empty spoon back in your mouth and say out loud:
- I know that hiccups are just a figment of my imagination
- I know that hiccups are just a figment of my imagination
- I know that hiccups are just a figment of my imagination
- I know that hiccups are just a figment of my imagination
- I know that hiccups are just a figment of my imagination
Again, symptoms may still be present. Stick with it!
Now take the spoon out of your mouth. Say out loud:

thirteen

bacon fat
bacon wrap
bacon stat
Try to add up the numbers you recited before you started thinking about bacon. Multiply that number by 6.61. Say what you think is the right answer out loud.
Take two steps forward and sit down. Stand up and walk to the first real plant that you see. Go outside if you have to. Exhale three times on the plant. This is not rude to the plant. They love this. You are giving them a warm fresh hit of carbon dioxide. Thank the plant. Walk back to where you sat down.
As you are walking back you will notice your hiccups are gone.
